OMG

I am starting to study Spanish at the university this fall.

I'm starting on the beginners level and my goal is to be able to teach in spanish on high school level in the end. From my starting point that is 2 years fulltime Spanish studies.

My goal is within a 5 year period have completed the requirements.
But how many books do you actually need for one course?!

Of course there is the dictionary, but 5 ?! coursebooks on top of that for a 30 credit course....

Pretty nails now time to finish that thesis

Oh yhea on Friday it's big big deadline coming up. Working on the final touches right now

Definitions writing your assignment:

I have come up with some definitions so that you now IF you are working on your assifgnment, or just fooling around with it:

1. When writing the real word count has to be over 250 words, ie Abstract does not count until the rest of paper is completed
2. Three sentences that are all in the same paragraph does count as long as they make sense
3. Doing 54 different graphs and tables are important, you never know which one you might end up using as long as they don't look like this (sorry E)
4. Putting all your referenses in order is work, will save you from failing because you have forgotten one.
5. Crtl C from an old report is actual work. I just need to refrase what I have said ones before in some sections (Score)

Home Exam

I hate when you move away from the computer things makes sense in the exam.

But as soon as I sit down I can't seem to make any logic out of my thoughs. Imagine if I could write my exam walking, cleaning, showering etc how easy everything would be then.

Fringe

My new friend E has added a new TV-series to my addiction list. So while writing my home exam I am maraton watching through the seasons.

I am already into season 2 (started with season 1on saturday).

I have also realized that new TV-show addictions and Home exams seem to have a correlation in my life, during my last home exam I think it was Dexter, Glee AND Mad men that I was watching....

Oral presentation

Today I have given my last group oral presentation and my second last presentation during my masters course. That it will be my last university course/degree that I take is unlikely so I will not say forever.

Study time

Ok its time to stop surfing around all my favorite blogs and actually finish (ehm start) that god damn Power point presentation that I have to give tomorrow.

Then we have the packing of two suitcases to. You just gotta love traveling upon traveling.

228 Authors

Ok for a couple of years ago I had a discussion with one of my close friends with excessive amount of authors for a pupblished paper in a scientific journal.

She likes it when all the people involved n the research is included, while I feel that at one point it gets a little ecxessive. At that point we were talking 10+ authors.

Today while searching I found a reference where I had to scroll quite a while before I got to the next one on the list and hence had to count the actual number of authors.

They were 228 AUTHORS on ONE paper published in Nature!
What I am wondering is what all these people actually did for this research, feels a little crowded in the lab to say the least

two days left

I have longed for this week, Being able to say that on XX day I am leaving.
That day is on top of me now and do you know what. I don't really wanna leave...

Yes I want to go home to see all my friends etc, but then what?

What happens now?
How long will it take for my next adventure and step in my life,
will I go back to the safety or have I fully released the safety line??

Woke up this morning started the computer and had internet connection. In my flat!!

Also checked my email after a lot of fussing around the apartment to build up the courage AND there is NO reply from my supervisor about me going away for 10-12 days.

Excursion- Oaks

A perfect day

I love my life.

Today I have just had the perfect day at uni. Staring out with some interesting lectures by great people and then after lunch heading out into the park with the veterinarians to examinate and immobilize different animals.

I have attended:

immobilization of a myskoxe where he got his feet trimmes, weighed and blood samples collected.
immobilozation of addax antilope where there was a castration and horn plastering
eye examination of an african male lion after a fight

99% sure

Have now found out that its 99% sure that my mastersproject will be located in Mexico working with Spider monkeys on olfactory predatory responses.
