JJ Rayban 1173

Born:2006

What a darling. he has got a HUGE bodyframe to grow into, but I think this is an up and coming stallion for the future. A bit nervous for he crowd, but he managed well in there. The camera crew was scary and different noises that ocured, but even this he showed off an amazing step and looked sort of relaxed.

Like all kids, standiing still was not in his ditionary.

Beach/ Australia 2009

Yo people who read rergularly might have discovered that I'm working out a bit more at the moment.

There is two reasons for this
.
1) beach 2009 is ssoon here I want my hot bod back AND toned

2) I had some severe backpains a couple of weeks ago that shows that I really really need to build up my core strenght again

Its going quite well, but a toned bruised ass is not the hottest thing in the world (thank god summer isn't here quite yet).

I have a couple of weeks now where the work out regime will be minimal due to travels but around easster I'm planning of kicking it up a notch or five on the ladder...

I'm soo weak in my triceps and biceps that its embarassing (really)

My sunday sess

In sweden we don't have the good sunday sess at the pub with friends and strangers...

My sunday sess here is instead a relaxing time in the bath with a good book.

No now

My throat feels like I have swallowed barbwire or something similar, my neck is sore from yesterday and I'm cold.

hang on a minute

Where did the sun and spring go???

All I see outside is snowflakes falling down!!

Roosevelt 1110

Born: 2002
Height: 166cm

Last chance. he is moving to the states after this breeding season. Gorgeous, but had a cariature body: Small head, steep angled neck, broad breast/ shoulder area (we are talking exremely broad).
Nice step, good tempre, but could not get over his look.

I'm addicted

Can't say what it is but every saturday and sunday morning I just have to get up and look on

The biggest loser!

Can't really say why but I just love to see their happinees when they have lost weight and the people that take it seriously is just amazing how good they look after (the ones that cotinue their regime)

Ouch

It has bin 11 years since I last fell of a horse.

I did that today bloody ducks came from a small creek ad scared the shit out of the horses. The best bit is that I saw them & didn't think twice about it.

SO I landed on my ass and will have a lovely bruise from it, feeling alighly thrown around at the moment, but am fine..

Briar 899

Born: 1991
Height: 172 cm

Gorgeous what else can I say. Looks so freindly and curious. He has so much personality and had tot makesure to check on everything.

Was the stirrups ok, or what are you doing?

have you got any goodies in you pockes,

My nose is itchy...

why did we stop now?!

What is happening over there (Meges)?

Another stallion ouside the door

But at the same time the big show off, he almost looked a bit disaspointed that he only had the normal bit on. All these people and of course he wanna show off his amazingness. Jan had to work to get him into a low profile, because all the time he just wanted to show his BEST side to the audience!

Clinic: Biar 899 and his son Meges

Look at the similarities!

Jan Bink on Briar 899 and Minna on Meges. That is the only way I can tell them apart.

In this clinic they talked about how Jan Brink has managed to be on top with Briar 899 for 10 years without any severe injuries. At the moment Briar is in a resting period between the competitions and that means that he is:

  1. on a normal bit
  2. Just work him in a low profile in walk, trot and canter
  3. Just check if he is awake with some piaff, passage, pirett steps but don't require them to be perfect. If he listens he gets a pat on neck and then back to "normal"
  4. Work with the lengths of the steps and generally just loosen him up in all muscles being sure that he ALWAYS is in a low profile and not the high profile that he has to go in when competing
  5. Train in other areas than the arena, like the forest, a gravel road, a field etc. Change is good and that also means that they learn that sudden things like logs, stones, people, bikes etc etc can occur in random areas. Another thing that the horse gets to go outside is that he has to look were he put his feet!
  6. gets to go out in the paddock alone for about 2 hrs a day (remember a horse is still a horse and not a machine no mather what level you are competing on)
  7. A happy horse is a healthy horse.
Everyday no mather if it is in between competeions or fine tuneing for a ompetetion he:

  1. walk him for 20 min before he starts training him (ok his assistant does this)
  2. jog him in a low profile for a while in both trot and canter
  3. also takes a 20 min walk on asphalt (this is good for the legs)

Hohenstaufen II 1160

Born: 2004
Height: 168

A name that you can't pronounce without severe sprain injuries to your toung. But this babie danced straight into my heart. I guess it has to do with the fullblood line in him. I don't think i was contacatble while he was in the areana. The carisma, the step, yhea everything. He was petite but still sturdy and yhea just my type of horse. Ashame I have no mare ....

Top stallion of the day

my new phone

I'm playing with my new phone and trying to get the blogfunction started. Not going as I want it too.

Have realized that I have an awsome camera, but that I can't be as discrete with this one when taking pictures in public. That sucks when I'm in stores trying to snap at ineresting objects. Oh well can always come up with an excuse why I need to take a picture.

Other than that things are going well. Discovered this morning that it doesn't have a Snooze function, trying to figure out were all the settings are etc etc

the usual drama when you have a new phone from a new brand. Bit chocked over the pink headphones that came with my pink phone. Not sure I like the colour of them THAT much.

Need to get a spare memory card to so that I can fill it with photos, music and other needy objects.

Triple M- Melbourne

I have a friend that is going to be on the radio some time between 8-9 am (Australian time).

Sitti here like an idiot listening and realizing how much I miss Australia. Think I need to tune in alot more often now when I have downloaded all the programs etc etc.

And the BIG question is actually, why did I never find this radio station while living in Australia?! (Except the obvious I smashed my radio one morning)

Its triple M I'm listening on.

Am starting to suspect that I might have tuned in an hour to late :(
