My question: do you have to travel by 4WD? 

Anvers: no, but it's bumpy and primitive.

Me: well,that's manageble. The roads aren't that bad then. I clearly have a new point of refence when it comes to roads in bad condition.

TGIF

Friday is here that means I can sleep in tomorrow in my own bed at my own place :)

This friday has been celebrated with:

going home from work at noon
fixing in my bedroom
booking train tickets to Åre where I'm  celebrating New Years.
planning to go to a dance class at the gym

Shopping in France

A couple of weeks ago I went to France, Bretange for work. Will tell you more about that shortly.

On saturday we did some sighseeing in the area and had time for some shopping and cake.

at first I found nothing except a scarf. I forgot mine at the school and it was cold not having something around your neck. SO I bought a new one.

Then I walked into a store and if I had had the money the store would have been emptied by me, I totally fell in love with 90% of all the items.
Settled for two things.

2013 the year of Africa

Yesterday we finally set the dates for our trip this summer. There has been alot of questionsmarks to strraighthen out on the way and there are still many to come.

But thesis work, work, summerjobs, holidays etc we have now finally come to an agrement when to travel.

Where are we traveling, I will not tell you that until I have a booking confirmation in my hand.

On top of this me and a friend has been talking about traveling to Kenya in februari for the last 2 years and now it finally looks like that we will be heading there over the christams holidays.

Only downside with the plan of these two major trips is all the vaccinationsshots I have to get (Yes there are a few that I still don't have)

Weekend plans

This weekend I am spending working at liseberg amusement park in Gothenburg. I will work here promoting my work and of course go one some good dollar coaster while getting paid. Did I mention that occasionally I just love my job?!

And to top it all of we are staying in gothiatowers located in central gothenburg.

365 that is how many days it has taken me to partially unpack my laptopbackpack that used in Mexico. Now it's even stored away and what is left in it is stuff that I keep in all my bags

Travel

I went to germany On friday. Ended up staying until Wednesday and now I'm in a zoo studying dolphins.

I guess you can say that there is always something going on at the moment.

Study time

Ok its time to stop surfing around all my favorite blogs and actually finish (ehm start) that god damn Power point presentation that I have to give tomorrow.

Then we have the packing of two suitcases to. You just gotta love traveling upon traveling.

20 days to go

In 20 days I leave Mexico.

I just cannot wait to:

• see my family, boy (I hope), friends
• be able to talk on the phone (yes I am addicted I can easily admit that)
• Have a hot shower that lasts longer than 45 sec
• drink water from the tap
• Buy a new phone (iphone here I come)
• Drive my car
• etc

Cancun

I am going to Cancun, I don't even think you can imagine how happy and excited I am.
Don't really care that I have to travel for almost 20 hrs, ride 3 different buses etc.

I am spending the weekend in Cancun that is all that is going through my head right now!!!

Socks

....are important to wear in freezing cold buses!

Good days and bad days

So I was planning to go to Veracruz today to do some diving. Woke up this morning and only saw problems and no solutions.

So I decided to stay at home and continue my sampling.

Also I am not sure if I would leave here now, when/if I would come back...

Temperatures dropping

You can tell it has been alot cooler here for the last couple of days:

1. I have ordered a HOT cappucino two days in a row
2. I sleep with my sleeping bag ontop of me and don't wake up thinking I am being boiled alive
3. Its a dilemma each night to decide if I want the fan on or off and in what direction I want the air in that case to blow
4. I have used a cardigan at night
5. I regretted not wearing a longsleeved jumper when going to the monkeys at 6:30 am
6. I am starting to suspect I didn't bring enough long pants

Yes my Spanish is not as good as I would wish it to be and E & M's english is a little better, but we do get stuck now and then. I know it gives you the wrong words now and then and the grammar we are not supposde to talk about. But with this litte tool our language barrier is diminished.

Its not all about remembering what we trained and the damn pronounciation!
