Spring shoe shopping

I'm in desperate need of new spring shoes. All of my previous seasons shoes have ended up in the bin or are in the extreme short list for the bin (ie they are totally worn out I just have to accept it).

This weekend Freeport in kungsbacka had a shoe weekend. Give one pair to charity and get a voucher worth 150 sek to buy a new pair with.

I found a gorgeous pair of from vagabond and then I managed to fill the bikini quota for 2013. Beach 2013 I am ready!!!

Oh and a hot pink bra and a loosefit simple dress for madagascar also tagged along home.

My mom also managed to find some things.

Closet cleaning

This apartment must house atleast one centipede, a 7 headed monster and a primadonna.....

How else can you explain the piles and piles and piles of clothes, shoes, scarves....

Sustainable wardrobe

This fall I have almost my complete wardrobe in one place, ony city. There are some exceptions that is still at my parents place, but this has given me a chance to actually see what I have, what I need and what I use.

Yhea the last part I should have knows clearly from having my wardrobe divided into three, but hey I'm only human. I like buying clothes and well apprently that is a bad thing, since I'm throwing away my money instead of saving them (yadda yadda yadda). For 8 months I have only bought necessary items like new running clothes, bra. I made two slipups: one pair of shoes for €5 and then a bikini for €8.
That was until I got my massive paycheck in end of august. Since then I have updated my wardrobe with some ehm essentials(links for pictures to previous posts):

• Sparkly bra
• jeans that actually fit like a glove
• thick knitted basic cardigan 
• black shirt
• denim shirt in a slimfit
• relex runners jacket
• fun dinnerparty dress

Then we have the things that I just fell in love with

• navy seethrough shirt
• navy dress
• bright coloured singlets (green and ornage)
• perfect black skirt
• runner tights

Things that I still need to get this fall

•  winter runner tights
• icebugs (if I continue to run in winter that is)
• winter/fall boots (I have no allaround boots anymore)

Oops

Still working on how u can justify these into my shopping ban.

This far we have the arguments:
Fit like a glove - ok not good enough
Cost €5 - might work
Have three occasions to wear them in may - just need to wear them at these occasions then
Interior decoration for my shoe shelf - oh yhea still need to buy that shoe shelf

Working condition?!

I got a question yesterday if I really needed new runners and how I could justify buying two pairs when on a shopping ban.

To put some statistics in how much I wear on my shoes.
1) my runners are 2 years old
2) I tend to walk more than run, but I still run from time to time
3) since I got the Nike+gps app in October I have walked a minimum of 360 km (actually recorded)
4) Look at the health of my soles.... Yes it's an actual hole in the bottom of my sole


Do you still think its not justified to buy two good pairs for the price of one. Well not my problem

Super bargain

All this week I have been talking with my friends about what exercise shoes I should get: runners or reebok easytone?

I finally decided on a pair of easytone since I walk more than run.
Headed to Skövde today enter intersport and all last years colors are on 50% sale.

Imagine my luck when my runners are standing there in my size.

Hence I got two pairs for the price if one.

6 pair of shoes

I have been in Mexico 13 weeks. During these weeks I have managed to:'

• buy 6 pair of shoes,
• break 4 pair of shoes
• Still looking for a nice pair to bring home to Sweden

Shoe stores in Catemaco

AS you all know I love, love love shoes.

As i happens I seem to have moved to the shoemecca of Mexico. I am born in the shoe mecca of Sweden so let me tell you I feel right at home.

Apparently Catemaco is the town with most shoestores per sqm in the central area....

80 pesos

Mexico I think you will kill y shoe addiction. The upside is that I won't be buying highheels, but leather sandals en masse.
For 80 pesos I got the most comfortable sandals I think have ever owned....

Hiking shoes

For my Mexico trip a friend of mine told me to get a pair of hiking shoes instead of using my hikingboots. She had felt because of the climate and the prolonged wear of the boots that it got to hot and hence she bought a thinner pair in Mexico.

So instead of lugging a pair of heavy hiking boots with me I went and bought a pair of Haglöfs hiking shoes. After only having worn them while flying this far it feels good. We need to get used to eachother, but that will happend soon enough I'm sure of.

Colourful heels part 2

I had a craving for these heels for ages and since I'm not three apples tall I needed another solution. Yes I know I have a couple of coloured heels in my shoe closet but its spring then you need bright colours.

I bought a pair of white pumps on sale & spray painted them brihgt yellow for a dress up party (Sorry din't have time to take a before picture). realized as soon as they were put on that these will be awsome for spring (when ever it arrives).

I just have to get the hell back on and repaint them. Turns out they weren't dry enough when I had to wear them (Oops).
No happy thought that the rubber heels fell of after about 2 hrs of wearing indoors. If I hadn't painted them I would have gone back with them even if they were on sale that is not ok.

Shoes in the box

Need to fill up the space in the book boxes, why not use some sandals?

Oh no

When I finally have managd to wear these shoes in. They bottom part of the heel falls off. SO now I need to find time to hand them into the shoe repair guy.

Stinky ballerinas

This is how they looked like when they were brand new.
A year later there were holes in the toes, holes in the heel and they reacked. Got stuck in the rain with them a couple of times and after that it was just over.

Gumboots

This year I finally got around to buy myself a nice pair of gumboots that I can wear those days when the rain is just pouring down and there is no end to the puddles.
I have bin crawing a pair of hunters for a couple of years, but there has bin something that just isn't right. In the end of summer me and mom walked around the shops and I stumbeled over these Replay boots. Liked them, but felt they were a little expensive. Couldn't stop thinking about them so a couple of days later we went back to the shop (thank god they still had them in my size). Now I'm just waiting for the rain.....

Shoe matematichs= one pair out = two pairs in

I went shoe shopping yesterday. After some severe threats overmy wornout stinky ballerinas (Sorry have no picture of how horrible they actually looked) this past week in Finland I decided it was time for drastic measures to get rid of them.
Said and done I walk into a shoe shop to replace my ballerinas with a new pair.

Well I found these lovely white Esprit leather sneakers on 70% off and while looing in the shelves I found these awsome black Vagabond heels also 70% off.
SO I left my stinky ballerinas in the shop and walked out with two brand new pairs. ( I almost bought a pair of winter jodphurs to, but felt that was a little over my budget getting three pairs at ones)
