Tip of the day

When wearing laque tights do NOT sit down in a white leather couch without anything in between. It will stain! Eventhough the tights are ancient in your closet they will stain!

This also include do not have light coloured items next to them in drawers (turn them inside out).

New blog project

I have bin thinking about this for a long long long time, but never really got around to start it up. Well this previous weekend I got around (guess its because I needed to clean apartment). What my attemt is to catagolize my closet and then show how I use my clothes in it.

At the moment I'm just putting all my clothes up (taking awhile), but the aim is that I ave I will show you how I use my clothes, My hope is that a pattern will appear for me.

I have figured though just the photographing and adding all the information is going to take a while. By the end of the week I suspect I will have added enough clothes for a normal persons wardrobe. To let you know by then I will only have scratched the surface.

I want one of these hangers so that I can organise my closet and actually get a a good overview. + I have somewhere to hang my clothes that aren't clean nor dirty (the in between clothes, used but not ready for laundry just yet)

Wardrobe 2009 - most worn items

There are always some items in the closet that you tend to wear more than others. This year it ended up being a couple of new stuff and

Wardrobe 2009 -worst buy

Some times you there are items that you fall in love with and just have to have. Some of these items turns out to be the best buy ever, while others tend to ehm well just hang in your closet and get worn more out of pity than anything else.

These are my worst buys:

1. Monki top - worn with pity
   
2. lace tights - never worn
   
3. Zara Tunic- gave to mom
4. Filippa K singlet (shrunk in the first wash)
5. Whyred pants (never worn)

This is the year when the labels started to gather space in my closet.
Jimmy Choo, Mattew Williamsson, Sonia Rykilel, Hugo Boss etc etc

Cleaning out my closet

All my clothes are on the floor i the living room!!

Now 'm going to try and get an amazingly organised closet, with all items nicely folded or haning properly on their hangers in some oderly manner.....

Weather changes

Its amazig one day you are standing infront of your wardrobe and have nothing to wear, the next day you now exactly what to wear .

And then there are days like these when the sun is blaring from clear blue skies and all you want is to wear ALL your nice summer clothes all at ones. So suddenly your overflowing closet gives you a headache because you can't decide between the cute summer dresses, shorts and siglet, skirt and singlet or unc and tights.....

I have bin standing for the last 30 min wearing my panties only trying to decide. Came as far that I realized I want bare shouolders and girly...... But turns out bare shoulders and girly still gives me like 10 different options...

I need a stylist that tells me what to wear and when, just to save me some time when getting dressed!

Scary

I have bin cleaning my loset for a while being really hard on the one in one out principle and in this principle broke clothes doesn't count for exchanging a new piece of garment.

A couple of weeks ago a friend was here and was digging through the piles of clothes that I'm selling or givig o charity (the out clothes). She took 15 pieces!!

This friday I had another friend over that I forced to try on some garments that are just that little to small for me. she walked away with 2 garments.

but I still have 2 BIG bags of clothes that I'm supposed to get rid of, but just can't get my thunb out of my ass and drive to the charity bin or photo new clothes to put up on my bloppis.......

The thing is even though I have this rule, my closets are still cramped full. I need someone to get over here go though ALL my closets, boxes, drawers etc and help me get rid of some stuff.

I think I am harsh, but apperently not harsh enough.

Ripped jeans

As I mentioned before many of my jeans are ripping and that its not a "fashionable" rip it does.

This is how two of my pairs look like and noticed that there is two more that is soon in this state.

Even my baggy pair is starting to look like this...

Closet shopping

The last couple of months my jeans have bin ripping like there is no tomorrow. And NO not in a cool, fashionable way but in between the legs or some other good areas. NO my jeans are not to small (ok maybe one pair), they are just badly worn.

I need to go and get some new jeans. But at the moment I'm not in the mood for trying jeans on. This is something that usualy make me feel bad and under the weather. because all the nice,cool and fasionable (cheap) models and brands NEVER NEVER fit. I'm not kidding you a 34" length can varie in length quite alot....

I have had these jeans in my closet that I never wear because of the open flared bit att the bottom. So in wednesday night I pulled out my sewing machine and fixed the problem.

Now I have a nice pair of jeans that is high in the waist and will get a lot of wear until I can afford buying a decent pair.

Tights/ Leggings/stockings

Or what ever u call them, this great material that cover up all the faults of your legs, keep them warm and with almost anyoutfit you can ,ake it look decent or raunchy depebnding on how you wear them.

BUT why is it ALWAYS when u r in the worst rush that u dicoverd that u have a RUN in them of course in the most obvious way that you can't skip it and just toddle on. No u have to change, and usually all the otherone in that colour have left your closet mysteriously and the only pairs u can find is the ones u don't like?!

Its like the missing sock equation in the laundry....
