Spring shoe shopping

I'm in desperate need of new spring shoes. All of my previous seasons shoes have ended up in the bin or are in the extreme short list for the bin (ie they are totally worn out I just have to accept it).

This weekend Freeport in kungsbacka had a shoe weekend. Give one pair to charity and get a voucher worth 150 sek to buy a new pair with.

I found a gorgeous pair of from vagabond and then I managed to fill the bikini quota for 2013. Beach 2013 I am ready!!!

Oh and a hot pink bra and a loosefit simple dress for madagascar also tagged along home.

My mom also managed to find some things.

A little bit of shopping

Having spent the weekend in Linköping I am now all relaxed with fully charged batteries, a new haircut and colour + new items in my wardrobe.

My friend M found out on friday that she got the PhD position she had applied for and we needed to celebrate. Friday was not an option since I had a 25th birthday party to attend and she is currently in an ICLD (insanely low calorie diet).
Yesterday I had a 3 hr hairdressers appointment and after that a hangover to cure. Instead we decided to go shopping today and not for gymclothes.

The only thing I needed were basic items like eye make up remover, ankle socks and a new eye primer.

 
I found those items and:

  2 necklases on sale

 a cute singlet almost for free (ok ok I am planning to run hot summer days in this)

a shirt that had my name on it. Its monkeys and Tucans on it!!

A scarf - see above argument!

Closet cleaning

This apartment must house atleast one centipede, a 7 headed monster and a primadonna.....

How else can you explain the piles and piles and piles of clothes, shoes, scarves....

Cleaning out my closet

Three years ago I did a raid in my closet at removed all items that were to small and put them into a box. Fall of 2011 I pulled about 75% out of that box and into my wardrobe because they fit  me again. Hello weight loss.

The remaning 25% I gave away to charity.

This weekend I am planning to do a reverse closet cleaning. All items that are to large will be put into a box and put into storage. Yes I am quite ceratin that I will fit into these clothes at one point in my life. Yes there are pieces of clothing that look good baggy and then there are those you sort of look sick like you have an eating disorder in. Those are the items that gets to move into stogare for now.

Sustainable wardrobe

This fall I have almost my complete wardrobe in one place, ony city. There are some exceptions that is still at my parents place, but this has given me a chance to actually see what I have, what I need and what I use.

Yhea the last part I should have knows clearly from having my wardrobe divided into three, but hey I'm only human. I like buying clothes and well apprently that is a bad thing, since I'm throwing away my money instead of saving them (yadda yadda yadda). For 8 months I have only bought necessary items like new running clothes, bra. I made two slipups: one pair of shoes for €5 and then a bikini for €8.
That was until I got my massive paycheck in end of august. Since then I have updated my wardrobe with some ehm essentials(links for pictures to previous posts):

• Sparkly bra
• jeans that actually fit like a glove
• thick knitted basic cardigan 
• black shirt
• denim shirt in a slimfit
• relex runners jacket
• fun dinnerparty dress

Then we have the things that I just fell in love with

• navy seethrough shirt
• navy dress
• bright coloured singlets (green and ornage)
• perfect black skirt
• runner tights

Things that I still need to get this fall

•  winter runner tights
• icebugs (if I continue to run in winter that is)
• winter/fall boots (I have no allaround boots anymore)

The sparkly bra

Next in line after the dress was logging onto instagram and there on style by Tyra's shop was the sparkly sequin bra. I have been chasing funny bratops since Mexico, but only found lace ones. So I decided for the ooooh so descrete sparkly bra instead....

A little bit of shopping

My shopping an lasted until the 17th of August. Yes I broke my promise on my birthday when I found a dress I had been drooling over all summer on 70% of the 50% sale. Yes it was almost free from the original price.

I have worn it since and got so much praise for it.

Some gym clothes

This running thing and being bad in updating your outdoor gym clothes collection has resulted in a severe expansion of my gym clothes wardrobe.

Its bin 6 years since last.

So when I found a new gorgeous bikini for €7 a piece I felt that it called my name.

Yes it's true I have not bought a new bikini in 6 years. Good iquality or high quantity?!

Linköping shopping part I

So I have been in Sweden two weeks and already had time to do some shopping. Yes no news there I have a problem, but this time some of the things were also necessary.

You would think that having been in a cheap country for 4 months that there would be NOTHING more that my closet need until early next year. and yhea that could be true if I would have been able to find pants that fitted me over there.

Since I came home I have needed to get a new pair of jeans, since all mine are to big and are getting quite thin (we are talking ripping any second thin), my seat pants are to big, didn't bring enough warm sweaters with me from home and also forgot all my tights with feet at home.

 Left all my nailpolish at home so bought this kit for €4 at H&M

 Knitted pale pink tunic on 70% from "Made in the shade"

 New gym singlet, not on sale but only have one workout top with me, wokring out more than 3x a week sort of makes me feel that I needed atleast one more "Rönish"

 Tights from Åhlens, great for short skirts and tunic before the thick knitted ones are pulled out of the closet

 Jeans 70% sale fram "Mason and Scotch"

"Stay in place" sports bra, as with the singlet one is just not enough when you work out more than once a week.

So what is not better to do than finding all these things while there is a 70% sale going on in the shops? Yews great idea, but it also means that more items find their way into the shopping bag. Like a new white top and fall jacket.
Some things are already in the laundry but will post them shortly.

Hitting a big down and a big mall there everything is almost free is dangerous of you ask me. I think I did fairly good though. "only" bought:

San Andres shopping pt 1

About a month ago I followed a friend to San Andres. She had to go to the bank. I still needed to get hold of a black singlet, denim shorts and a belt.

I found it all + a pair of sandals (that unfortunately died in Veracruz)

Xalapa Shopping

When entering civilisation my poor credit card need to watch out. Give me 2 hrs in a shoppingmall by closing time and you can bet that I will do a good damage.

My key argument is that I actually do need everything that I bought, since my closet seem to shrink in a higher speed than it grows at the moment. And when you only bring tops for 7 days its quite hard to loose 2 withing the first month.

Oh yhea maybe computer stickers are not necessary, but my new baby will need some TLC when it arrives...
