So over easter I did some renovations in my apartment. The entrance got a facelift with some new wallpapers on the walls.
This is how it looks like now.

Home styling
I have decided to update my living room. Yesterday I went looking on wallpaper & I just fell in love with one of Boråstapeters London collection.

I'm going to put three strips of this midwall & then rearrange my furniture etc to completely change the look of the room.
While looking at wallpapers I found two nice ones that would be perfect for my entrance. I guess that will be my next mission before putting it on the market february/march.

Ikea
I went to Ikea today to buy a selfwatering flowerpot and some candles.
Are you surpisred if I tell you that my flowerpot was my most expensive pot I have ever bought and heaviest?
Will show you what more I got when I get home tomorrow.

Kids coloured chairs
I just had a look at Sea of shoes where she has made about about fundraising and getting kids to colour the fabric of some chairs.
I have just decided that this is what I want to do with my kitchen chairs or the chair I'm fixing at the moment.
Think I even have some kids that can help me out with it.
But what canavas to use & how do I make it last when its done?
Hmm think kitchen chairs will be the ones: that means i can send a chair with each multikid parent home at work for them to draw on.....

Worldmap wallpaper
yes I'm a geek, no surprises here!
And since I love to travel what is better than a big worldmap??(time to play the dart game I?)
Colour is my life and if you thought I would have white (discrete) walls in my flat, well then you clearly don't know me...
I found this wallpaper a while ago in a discountshop and fell in love. Got it in christamsgift from my parents and this weekend we finally got it up.
And let me tell you there was a lot of swearing involved in getting these 8 HUGE sheets up. What happened with the oldfashioned wallpaper rolls and manageble sized sheets??
Yes we had some issues, but the endresults looks good and that is what counts (right?!).
we had to cut the swedish flag ...
But thankfully Australia is ok

Reovations:spare room
So my room is finally done. Now I just need to get some more furniture like a bookshelf etc...
Think I willuse that room as a study/ dressing room (yes I have a big flat for one person). Need to get a bookshelf though so I can get the boxes of books emptied out of my bedroom.

Balcony table

I'm thinking of getting this one for my balcony. Will be great to use as a spare table when you are several crowiding it, and when alone I can easily move it to where I want it to be.

Balcony ideas
This how I want my balcony to look like,
The flower shelf I will get and also the wooden floor squares, but the furniture will be a little different I think.

Only thing is the wooden floor squares will cost me €130,since there is only 5 per package and I need 48 and then its the rest that needs to be bought to....

Balcony furniture
If I had a big balcony I would buy this and put it there.
Since I have a quite narrow balcocny I guess something like this will do, but with four chairs.

Black and white
I want to fix my hallway and have come up with that I really want black and white tiles in it.

I'm thinking black and white floor, grey/ purple walls and keep my dark walnut furniture that I have now.
What do you think??
Varied patterns:
small:

Angled:

Wavy:
But first I need to fix my spare room. Wallpaper almost completely gone on 2½ walls. Only need to decide on colour on three of the walls beffore easter (nope no pressure at all).

Study corner
I have this huge room in my flat that I'm planning to use as a study/ catroom/ what ever
at the moment it still lookslike I moved in a couple of days ago, instead of almost 2 months ago.

I like to watch telly while studying and need my kitchen table for dining so on saturday I decided to rearrange a little in my flat and moved my spare table to a corner in living room where my laptop fits beautifully.
This means that I have plenty of time to fix my study (unpack).
