Catya please come back

It was a shock last week when I tried to log onto Catyas.se and discovered that it no longer exists!

I had to start google her and see what had happened and looks like some asholes had to put out her FULL idientity in spams and some blogs.

So catayas.se is no more....

I hope she come back in another name but that I can find it. If anybody now anything else please let me know....

We miss your blog quite alot let me tell you that!

confsed phonelines

When we were in Finland I had my Swedish network the enire time. Until..

we boarded the ferry and had started leaving the harbour going back to Sweden. Thats when I get the Telenor passport message welcome to Finland bla bla bla

Hmm nice to welcome me when I was leaving and is about to finish my trip...

Painting

It took a while but I finally got another painting up on my walls. Only four more standig waiting to be put up and then some that need new frames...


I put it up in my diig area between my bed room and kitchen.

Åbo- Stockholm

Lets just descirbe this trip as a start of a nightmare that goes ok in the end.

When we were checking in we discovered that it was the monthly Ladies night cruise, secondly the redbull car pulls up, thirdly FIVE busses of already drunk military boys appear.

We new by then this was not going to be fun. And when we came to our cabins we were right, there were already parties going on everywhere and by the time taxfree opened the party(drunken slaughter field) was on.

We decided to try and upgrade our and our students cabins and were so lucky that we got 8 cabins in a row on deck10. It was alittle bit calmer here than on the previous deck.

we had some dramas but in general it was a pretty quite night (compared with how it would have bin on deck2). Only other problem than having to call security to kick a unwelcome guest out was that the tilt in our beds were so great that I almost slid out of bed several times during the night & that was on calm sees.

The bus ride home went with out any dramas and since then I have bin dead to the world, with a heavy headache and have slept 11hrs non-stop and then some...

Balcony ideas

This how I want my balcony to look like,

The flower shelf I will get and also the wooden floor squares, but the furniture will be a little different I think.

Only thing is the wooden floor squares will cost me €130,since there is only 5 per package and I need 48 and then its the rest that needs to be bought to....

Woops

they had to call me from the carmechains this morning asking where my car was. hehe it was on my drive way since i was still asleep. Not embarassing at all I promise.

Then it turns out the carmechanics has moved. So I had to call them up asking were they are now adays and how do I get there.

I swear I have had the best start of the day EVER!!

That damn car

It think it might be time to sell the car and start using the public transport where ever I need to go. I swear it must be cheaper than what my car is at the moment.



Unknowingly I handed my car in for service, that I new were going to be expensive already! it took 15 min and they call and iform me that my front featherings system, stearing and other shit is not looking good. Not looking good = Some items have snapped and my car is not to be driven until this is fixed.

They will show me this broken shit when I go and pick my car up this afternoon and honestly I do belive them. If they rip me off it will cost them more!



So my €500 service will now cost med €1000 ouch!!

Why oh why do you have to eat up my savings account all the time?!

Saturday in the sun

On saturday I was feeling like shit, but I had promised a friend to take care of her dogs for a couple of hours while they were away.

Thank god the weather was nice. I just sat in the sun for 2 hours eating my first ice cream outside for the year, reading and watching the dogs.....

day 2

After breakfast the students showed our students around the school and we had some games to lighten up the tension a litlle bit.





Then it was early lunch and we headed off to visit two different petshops. This is were the leading driver managed to loose the bus that was following them (yes that was us).


Then we drove to Tourla wich is the other school and the vice principal showed us around and we had an early dinner before we headed into Turku(Åbo and the students had some free time to go shopping.

Then it was time to board the ferry and go back to sweden.

First step is to get some flowers into my pots...


Then its furniture and try to get hold of some wallhanging pots that do look good on the wall.

Signs of spring

Two sings that spring has arrived

1) Ballerinas are out of the closet


2) Need to de-hair my legs for shorter pants etc .... Oh and paint toe nails, give full pedicure and hunt for a good lotion for the body

Spring break!!

Spring break has started with the sun shinig and the temperature going over 15 degrees at 8.30 AM!!

Keep fingers crossed its stays like that for a couple of days now. My plans for this week long break is to:

1. fix up my balcony
2. finish renovations in my spare room, my dad is coming over easter to help me with the wallpapers and other handy stuff.
3. Change my closet from winter to summer clothes
4. try to enjoy the sun as much as possible, unfortunately not a lot of time in stable due to both horses I ride is currently injured (no not my fault)
5. get part of my uni assingment done by tonight (Latest!)
6. RELAX!!!

Day 1

Finland greeted us with sun and clearblue skys. And ice in random places that almost killed you.
First we visited Sea Life and I wass in heaven. The students didn't think me and my colleague would leave..ever. We were just walking around looking and i was telling her facts about almost all the sealife in there...

after that we had lunch at Hesburger (is this the equal to MAX in sweden?)

and then we headed to Aaptus dog spa and pensionat.

When we were done there we headed to Paomi where the school is got dinner (it was soup) and our sleeping quarters for the night. 14 of us got to sleep in a studens built cabin with no running water and no loo. But we go to use the sauna.

Headache

The tensions from this weeks field trip is not letting go, but I guess the tension from having to write a uni assignment buy friday (yesterday) is not helping!

If I had a big balcony I would buy this and put it there.

Since I have a quite narrow balcocny I guess something like this will do, but with four chairs.

Fom G's to Gents

As usual there is always crap on tellt on a saturday. You guys are all thinking well go out and enjoy the sun as the rest of the country is today.

Oh I will go out, but until recently I have bi feeling like shit. A headache like hell, whole body aches and freezzing extrenal limbs off.

So sitting there flipping through the channels I found this from G's tot Gents on MTV and well its not great, but best there is.....

This is a reality tv-show where some Gangstas are trained as gents and then they get to vote two people of in the end of each show. What will they come up with next?!

My trip to Finland

As you guys know I headed of to Finland for a couple of days with students to visit a school and other things.

At 11 am on tuesday the 31th or march we headed off towards Stockholm and the ferry to wards Helsingfors.

We boarded M/S Silja Symphony for a 17h journey. We fixed dinner for the students and while they were eating I actually got my hair cut (Yes I was the one that mixed up the timezones that is onboard the ferry).

We had a lovely dinner and afterwards I got a Baileys coffe before it was time to hit the sack. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast buffe and Finland showed herself from her best side.


Sunshine and clear ble skys. Unforunately winter hasn't left Finland yet so the bay was filled with ice and snow everywhere.

The lace back

A couple of weeks I tried on a top like this that was on sale. It was cute, cheap and great.

But I was broke, broke, broke. Wasn't to upset at the moment that I didn't buy it. But now almost a month later this is bugging me. I guess I have found items in my closet it would look great with.

Scotland round 2?

Last year me and a friend did scotland. Or we explored Edinburough, Fort willimas and the Great glen way (in the rain) and Inverness. And we met the rain, and some more rain and then some more.

Today we started talking if we should go to the west coast and do some hiking and whale watching before I head of to Australia.

I'm on. Just wonder if my wallet is....

Ripped jeans

As I mentioned before many of my jeans are ripping and that its not a "fashionable" rip it does.

This is how two of my pairs look like and noticed that there is two more that is soon in this state.

Even my baggy pair is starting to look like this...

Its time

Now its time for the mecanic to exchange some impotant parts and give it a proper 15000 mil service. Oh and yhea ofcourse take a HUGE chunk out of my wallet

Apperently Nike thinks it is important that you put your socks on the right foot when using them.

Look an L underneath and yhea I checked, there was an R underneath the other one.

Closet shopping

The last couple of months my jeans have bin ripping like there is no tomorrow. And NO not in a cool, fashionable way but in between the legs or some other good areas. NO my jeans are not to small (ok maybe one pair), they are just badly worn.

I need to go and get some new jeans. But at the moment I'm not in the mood for trying jeans on. This is something that usualy make me feel bad and under the weather. because all the nice,cool and fasionable (cheap) models and brands NEVER NEVER fit. I'm not kidding you a 34" length can varie in length quite alot....

I have had these jeans in my closet that I never wear because of the open flared bit att the bottom. So in wednesday night I pulled out my sewing machine and fixed the problem.

Now I have a nice pair of jeans that is high in the waist and will get a lot of wear until I can afford buying a decent pair.
